Gombe State is playing host to the 2013 National Division One League basketball play-offs until December 23. The Gombe Sports Commission has concluded arrangements and there are plenty at stake for the teams taking part in the event as promotion to the Dstv Premier League is the reward.
AHIP Giants of Kano, Chariots of Lagos, Kwara Falcons, Benue Braves, FCT Rocks, NAF Rockets, Civil Defence, Kano Pyramids and host Gombe Bulls are some of the teams who will be in action.
