32-Yr-Old Woman Excretes Hard Drugs Inside Aircraft
Chizoba Anya, a Nigerian lady, has excreted wraps of substance that tested positive for methamphetamine on-board a Qatar Airline Flight from Malaysia to Nigeria, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, said on Monday.
NDLEA said the 32-year old suspect was said to have excited suspicion following her frequent visits to the toilet.
“On arrival at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos, three wraps of methamphetamine were found in her possession,” said Mitchell Ofoyeju, NDLEA spokesperson.
NDLEA commander at the Lagos Airport, Mr. Hamza Umar, said that the suspect while under observation excreted two additional wraps.
“The suspect was found with three wraps which she excreted in the aircraft. While she was under observation at the Lagos airport, she excreted two additional wraps of drugs. The five wraps which tested positive for methamphetamine weighed 80 grammes,” Umar said.
Preliminary investigation also revealed that the suspect left Ghana where she ingested the drugs to Malaysia.
“In Malaysia, she was denied entry and made to board another flight back to Nigeria. She started excreting the drugs at the airport in Malaysia,” NDLEA said.
The agency quoted the suspect as saying in her statement that she was offered half a million naira to smuggle the drugs to Malaysia.
“I was promised the sum of half a million naira but my problem started when I had immigration problem in Malaysia. I was denied entry and made to return to Nigeria after two days. While in the aircraft, I excreted three wraps and two other wraps in the NDLEA office,” Vivian stated.
Vivian, who hails from Onitsha, said that she just completed her Higher National Diploma (HND) in Business Administration at the Federal Polytechnic Oko, Anambra State.
“I just completed my HND programme and I am from a very poor family. I wanted to use the money they promised me to assist my siblings by smuggling the drug to Malaysia,” she added.

Jet Li however said he was determined to fight the condition head-on, He discussed his diagnosis during the taping of a talent show he’s judging in China. He said his weight had increased, but he was taking it all in stride. Li joked about his weight gain and said “I’m fat, I don’t have the time to lose it. It’s a fact!”
He explained that exercise does not go with the medication he’s taking. Li was diagnosed in 2010. He kept his condition under control with medication, but it came back with a vengeance recently.
He said that he’s tackling his illness head-on. “I’m just a regular guy, I’m not Wong Fei Hung, I’m not Huo Yuan Jia (kung fu heroes he portrays on film), I’m not a hero. I’m just like you.”

Then you drop the cheque in your account and you see that almost N4/5million is being returned back to you that it didn't clear. You call them and tell them and they tell you they are coming but they haven't picked the cheques till now.
"The shocking ones are not even the bounced cheques. It's the ones that when they are coming to meet you in the house to give you money, they come with a whole camera crew. Then they will say I'm donating one million naira to you and the cameras start recording and maybe the guy's tape stops, and he says let's take that again (Laughs).
"There were people in my dialysis that I gave N100k each to pay for their dialysis, we didn't publicise it, we didn't take photos with them, because I felt that was unnecessary."

According to a report by dailypost ,Terry G was attacked and Sent Off Stage during performance in hometown.
Dailypost reports;
Oche Gabriel Amanyi, otherwise known as Terry G got more than he bargained for in his hometown during the weekend.
The singer, who was at the IBB Square, Makurdi in Benue State for Benue youth fiesta was attacked while performing on stage.
The Benue fiesta, which attracted hundreds of youths, including men and women, was organized by the member representing Guma/Makurdi federal constituency, Barrister Emmanuel Jime, who is known to be nursing gubernatorial ambition in 2015.
It was learnt that while the ‘son of the soil’ mounted the stage to perform, some youths, suspected to be hoodlums, began to throw sachet water on the musician and later broke bottles and charged towards him.
No reason was given for their action.
The security men on ground eventually brought the situation under control,Prominent Nigerian artistes including J. Martins, I Go Dye, Ice Prince and Pastor Nicodemus Mbatsavtampu performed at the event, which was lively, before it was interrupted.

Lying on her hospital bed, Roona Begum almost appears likes any other two-year-old.
But her appearance today is a drastic transformation to how the toddler looked just a few months ago after her head swelled to twice its size.
These dramatic series of images chart her journey which has seen her undergo numerous operations on her skull.
Doctors carried out her latest reconstructive surgery on Friday and the results are clear to see in these pictures taken of Roona at a hospital in New Delhi, India, on Christmas Day.

Mother of two Mariah Carey says she's done having kids and if her husband Nick Cannon wants more children, he will have to get pregnant and have the babies himself.
During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, the 44 year old singer was asked by a fan caller whether or not she and Nick were planning to have more children...

British Airways Jet crashes into building in South Africa (Photo)
A Boeing 747 jet belonging to British Airways, yesterday Sunday Dec. 22nd crashed its right wing into an airport building inside the OR Tambo Airport in Johannesburg, South Africa. (Pic above)
The flight, which was on its way to London, veered off the taxiway as it headed to the runway and buried its right wing in the 2-storey brick structure, injuring four airport officials, Daily Mail reports.
A statement from the South African Civil Aviation Authority's (SACAA) preliminary report, said the aircraft was cleared for takeoff on Runway 03L but took a smaller runway.
'The air crew got instructions from the Air Traffic Control to taxi using taxi way B. The crew continued onto taxi way M which is narrower resulting in the aircraft impacting on an office building behind the SAA Technical hangers.
A spokesman for OR Tambo airport said the 17 Crew and 185 passengers who were in the aircraft escaped unharmed. They were evacuated from the aircraft and spent the night in a hotel.

Drunk Policemen Kill Teenager, Other During Christmas Party
Residents of the area told PUNCH Metro that the two boys were killed by drunken policemen attached to Ijora Badia Police Station around midnight.
Our correspondent also learnt that another youth, Mike Banji, was also shot by the policemen but survived.
Police Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide, had told our correspondent last week that the boys were stabbed to death by some hoodlums during a fight that broke out at the hotel.
Braide had said when the police arrived at the scene, the boys were rushed to the hospital where they eventually died.
“There was a stampede at Dele Hotel where they were holding an end-of-the-year party around 11pm on December 14. Hoodlums engaged in a fight with machetes and bottles. Moses Aiyenuro was slashed on the neck. A team of policemen from Ijora Badia Police Station rushed to the scene and rescued him, Ikenna and another unconscious person.
“Moses was confirmed dead at the hospital. Hoodlums attacked the police station demanding the release of their colleagues and five suspects were arrested.”
However, a medical report signed by Dr. Durojaiye of the Lagos Island General Hospital, stated that Ikenna was shot in both legs.
PUNCH Metro also learnt that Moses, whose corpse was deposited at Mainland Hospital, Yaba, was killed by a bullet that pierced through his neck and collar bone, and not a machete cut as claimed by the police.
When our correspondent visited the family of the two slain boys on Sunday, sympathisers were seen consoling the family.
Ikenna’s father, Mr. Michael Onyeizu, told our correspondent that with the loss of his son, life had become unbearable.
He said, “I am 50-years-old and I am an umbrella repairer; Ikenna was my only son and I have just one daughter left. He was neither a trouble maker nor a thief. I have struggled all my life and it was my hope that he would bring me out of poverty, but police killed him.
“He just finished secondary school and he was working as a waiter in a nearby hotel to support me. After he was killed, I went to the station to find out what happened, but I was chased out and the policeman on duty even threatened to detain me.
“I don’t have money to pay any lawyer; but I want justice and money to bury my son.”
When our correspondent visited the family house of Moses, his mother and pregnant wife were seen crying.
Moses’s mother said, “This is the second son that I will be losing. Moses was not a cult member. He did not drink or smoke. Police have been embarking on raid, arresting innocent people, and demanding money from them before they are released. Moses just got married last month and his wife is pregnant.”
A friend of the deceased, who craved anonymity due to the sensitivity of the case, told our correspondent that Moses was shot at close range.
He identified some of the killer policemen as Soji and Emma.
He said, “We were having fun at the party when some hoodlums started fighting over a girl. Policemen had been hired by the hotel to provide protection that day, but they went on a drinking spree. When the fight started, they came back and started shooting, but by then, those fighting had fled.
“Among the policemen, I saw Soji and Emma shooting and one of the bullets hit Ikenna on the legs. Moses and I carried Ikenna to the police station to get a police report so that we could take him to a hospital for treatment, but they started shooting at us again so we fled.
“One of the policemen grabbed Moses by the shirt and shot him at close range and killed him. They put his body in a patrol vehicle and beat me and I fell unconscious.”
Moses’s elder sister, Funmilayo, who also witnessed the incident, said she pleaded with the policemen to leave her brother but she was pushed into a gutter where she remained unconscious only to wake up to hear that her brother was dead.
PUNCH Metro learnt that the Office of the Public Defender, a department under the Lagos State Ministry of Justice had taken over the case.
The Secretary, Lagos Marginalised Communities Forum, Ishola Agbodemu, berated the police over the killing of the two youths.
Agbodemu accused the police of high-handedness and urged the government to ensure that the killer cops were brought to book.
Braide promised to respond to the new development, but did not call back as of the time of going to the press.

Fade & Sesan Ogunro's dad shot dead by armed robbers last night
Beat FM OAP Fade Ogunro and her prolific music video director brother Sesan Ogunro lost their dad in the early hours of this morning Monday Dec. 23rd. Mr Sesan Ogunro Snr, who was an advertising guru, was returning from his church Christmas Carol with members of his family, including his children and grand children when they were attacked by armed robbers last night around 10pm in front of their church at the back of Marwa Garden in Alausa Ikeja.
Mr Ogunro was shot point blank by the robbers. He was rushed to the hospital where he died around 12.45am early this morning. He was in his sixties. Too sad. May his soul rest in peace...amen.
